Why use Palm Wax in candles
Palm wax is an environmentally friendly product which comes from a sustainable source and burns cleanly. There is no petroleum based ingredients and gives a decorative crystalline finish. Palm wax candles hold more fragrance and burn for longer periods of time.

There has been quite a bit of press lately about the destruction of rain forests in South-east Asia, home to some of the most bio-diverse ecosystems in the world, with the threat of losing these forests and destroying the livelihood of native people, orangutang, Sumatran tiger populations and other important wildlife. When we set out to find palm wax, we were not prepared to use any waxes that were involved in such destruction of the environment and we knew you would it would not be acceptable to you either, so my suppliers had  many many months of research, phone calls, meetings,and South East Asia trips, they have partnered with a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil. This organization was founded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and heads of government and industry involved in palm cultivation. The RSPO was founded to develop and define best practices for sustainable palm cultivation, and protection of the environment.
